I am a Certified Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist: A Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDR/Flash Therapist. I have spent the last 19 years in higher education and clinical practice within the Mental Health Field and my own private practice. My approach is interactive; I seek to understand my patients’ struggles and work towards developing a process to help them resolve their difficulties. My work is approached empathetically building an alliance of understanding, supporting and acknowledging each patient as unique with the importance of their situation, allowing them to express their anxiety, fear, and sadness, helping them to develop a new sense of hope crafting new ways of seeing and being.
